About us
Three generations, one promise
Since 1990, our family has helped Southeast Missouri families create lasting tributes to the people they love. We are now in our third generation — and the promise has never changed.

Our goal is simple: helping families create beautiful, lasting tributes
Malden Marble Works is a third-generation, family-owned monument company in Malden, Missouri. For more than thirty years, our family has helped families across Southeast Missouri honor the people they love with granite headstones, cemetery monuments, and memorials made to last for generations.
You will find us where we have always been — at 1702 N. Douglass St. in Malden. Inside, stone is still shaped, carved, and lettered by the family whose name is on the sign. Over the years, thousands of families have trusted us during some of the hardest days of their lives, and we have never taken that trust lightly.
We believe a memorial should be as enduring as the love it represents. That is why every tribute is designed with you, drawn for your approval, and set in place by our own hands — gently, patiently, and with care.
What we believe
The same care, for every family
Family, for your family
When you call, you speak with our family. When your memorial is set, it is our own hands that set it. We have never asked anyone else to do that for us.
Made to last for generations
Every memorial is shaped, carved, and lettered in our own workshop from enduring granite — because the love it represents is meant to last for generations.
Here in Malden since 1990
You will find us where we have always been, on the same street in Malden, Missouri — serving families across Southeast Missouri for more than three decades.
Our family's story
A family promise begins
Malden Marble Works opens its doors on N. Douglass St. with a simple promise: treat every family like neighbors, and craft every stone as if it were for our own.
The second generation
The next generation of the family takes up the tools — learning the craft stone by stone, and carrying the promise forward across Southeast Missouri.
The third generation
Grandchildren of the founder now welcome families into the same showroom, blending time-honored handcraft with modern design and etching — and the promise has never changed.

Come sit with us, and tell us about them
The best memorials begin with stories — a favorite hymn, a lifelong farm, a laugh everyone remembers. Whenever you are ready, we would be honored to hear yours.
